Sassiverse Backpack Tool
The Kite
- Purpose
- Help you preserve your peace, release assumptions and judgments you do not want to carry, and find words you can reach for when the bar is low.
- Materials
- Two kites, one Sunny Spot, your own words, a peace branch if you want one, and enough sky to let go.
- Weight
- Almost nothing. Can carry an astonishing amount of stuff that was never yours to begin with.
- Magical Properties
- Your Backpack always contains two. One helps you remember your peace. The other can carry away assumptions, judgments, imaginary arguments, and stories you do not need to keep holding. Hand over the string, look again: still two. Backpack physics. We do not ask questions.
How to Use It
- Practice while the bar is low: know a Sunny Spot and find words that sound like you.
- If you are free-falling, pull your Parachute first.
- Notice what the moment stirred up and what you started carrying about the other person.
- Put the heavy assumptions, judgments, and imagined story in the Kite. Add a peace branch if that helps you.
- Choose your words—or choose silence. Hand over the string. Let the Kite fly.
- Return to your own Kite and the things that help you keep your peace.
You choose your words. You choose whether to leave, stay, set a Fence, or return later. The Kite only helps you stop carrying what is not yours.
