No two travelers arrive here by exactly the same path.
Some rocks appear without warning.
Some have quietly been sitting beside the trail for years.
Some are small enough to step over.
Others seem so large they become the only thing we can see.
Around here, we don't begin by asking how to move the Rock.
We begin by noticing it.
The Rock isn't good.
The Rock isn't bad.
It simply exists.
Part of the Landscape
The Rock Is Real
Life is not always fair.
Some things happen that we did not choose, cannot explain, and would change in an instant if we could.
We may push. Pull. Bargain. Question. Search for an excavator large enough to carry the whole thing away.
Sometimes the rock moves.
Sometimes it does not.
But whether it stays or goes, the Rock has something to teach us.
Around here, we have learned something unexpected.
The Rock is information.
It isn't punishment.
It isn't failure.
It simply tells us that something deserves our attention.
We don't have to solve the Rock today.
We simply begin investigating it with curiosity.
The Landscape Is Bigger
The Rock Is Not the Whole Landscape
One of the easiest mistakes to make is believing the Rock has become the entire landscape.
It hasn't.
Life is still happening.
Dogs still want to play. Flowers still bloom. Friends still answer the phone. Trails still wind through the woods. The sun still rises.
The Rock is real.
But so is everything else.
The trail is always bigger than the Rock.
Another Place to Rest
Choose a Sunny Seat
Looking away from the rock for a while does not erase it.
It does not dishonor what happened.
It simply gives joy, rest, laughter, connection, and life somewhere else to sit beside you.
The rock may still be in the garden.
You are still allowed to enjoy the sun.

Somewhere beyond this Rock are sunny seats, meaningful conversations, experiments, boundaries, unexpected gifts, and trails you haven't discovered yet.
The Rock isn't asking you to stay.
It's inviting you to notice... and then continue becoming.
