Sunny Spot ≠ Sunny Seat

Do I Need Somewhere to Land—or Am I Ready to Choose What's Next?

There is a sneaky way to ruin a perfectly good Sunny Spot:

Turn it into another meeting. 😂

You finally sit in the sun, walk the dog, paint, listen to music, or find somewhere your brain can loosen its grip—and immediately demand:

Excellent. NOW WHAT IS MY FIVE-POINT ACTION PLAN?

Nope. Not required.

A Sunny Spot helps create footing or room. Sometimes its whole job is letting the landscape get bigger again.

A Sunny Seat is different. That is a place of agency and possibility, where questions such as What can I do? What choices are mine? What might I want to create? start becoming useful.

Landing and choosing are different jobs.

If you are still circling, tired, thin on words, or simply do not want another question, you may need room rather than possibility.

If curiosity is returning and more than one option is becoming visible, a Sunny Seat may start to make sense.

You do not have to graduate from one to the other. You do not earn a Sunny Seat by doing Sunny Spots correctly.

And if possibilities show up while you are in a Sunny Spot, wonderful. If they do not, your Sunny Spot did not fail.

Sometimes you need somewhere to land before you need to decide where to go.
