πŸͺŸ A Gate Adventure

A Window, Not a Door

A very small window with an excellent view

The Story

The traveler built a Gate with a window no larger than a postcard.

β€œThat's a peculiar little window,” said a passing rabbit, who had not been consulted on architectural matters.

β€œIt's the right size,” the traveler said.

Through it she could see the sky, exchange a few words, or wave to someone on the other side. But the whole world could not tumble into her afternoon just because she wanted to say hello.

On some days she opened the window wide enough for a conversation. On others, she kept the curtains drawn. She discovered that a window was not a failed door. It was an entirely different possibility.

The rabbit considered this, then asked whether the window could accommodate a carrot. Negotiations began.

Through the Traveler's Lens

Are there relationships or situations where a little connection feels right but more access doesn't? What size opening would you choose if there were no standard blueprint?

You get to decide what, if anything, belongs on your own trail.

A Little Borrowed Belief

β€œI'd like to stay in touch, but I don't have room for a longer conversation.” A smaller opening can still be a genuine one.

Borrow a possibility, experiment with it, or leave it here. Your Gate belongs to you.
