Packing for My Sunny Spot

What might I pack that helps me find my footing?

Jenny found herself sitting in a car with Sassy after hearing upsetting news. She had been thinking and thinking, but eventually noticed that another lap wasn't giving her anything new. She chose to go into the pet store with Sassy, walk around, meet people, and practice together. The news hadn't disappeared. Something about her footing had changed.

Later, Jenny wrote about what she'd discovered. Near midnight, a friend reached out while her own thoughts were spinning. Jenny could share what she'd tried and offer a few possibilities—but her friend would choose what belonged in her bag.

There is no universal packing list.

A Sunny Spot might be a place, an activity, a rhythm, or something you haven't discovered yet. You get to experiment. You get to keep what fits, change what doesn't, and find your own words for the process.

This book is growing. Its future doors will explore recognizing another lap, experimenting with different space, and sharing discoveries without choosing for another Traveler.

You can share what's in your bag without packing someone else's.
