Carry One With You
Can You Take a Sunny Spot Somewhere It Can't Go?
Obviously, you cannot put a beach in your pocket.
Sand will get everywhere. Terrible plan. 😂
But sometimes a moment leaves you with more than a picture.
Jenny calls it searing it into your bones.
There are places and moments that make you stop. Maybe the view takes your breath away. Maybe your whole body seems to soften. Maybe you simply think, I want to remember this.
Jenny tries to notice more than what the camera would catch: the wind on her skin, the temperature, the sand under her feet, the light, sounds, smells, who is there, and the tiny detail that will disappear first if she does not pay attention.
Not just: What did this look like?
Also: What did being here feel like?
Through Your Lens
What would you want to carry from one of yours?
If a place or moment makes you want to remember it, what do you notice beyond the picture?
The temperature? A smell? The sound under everything else? What your hands were doing? Who was there? The tiny detail nobody else would think mattered?
You do not have to turn the moment into homework. You might simply notice enough of it that Future You has more than a photograph to return to.
Then there are the checkout-lane moments.
You are standing somewhere very much not your peaceful place. You cannot teleport. Life is life-ing. It is basically a “Calgon, take me away” moment. 😂
But a memory captured richly enough may give your attention somewhere else to rest for a minute. You remember the wind. The sand. The temperature. The feeling of being there.
Maybe something shifts in the present. Maybe it does not. The Sassiverse is not promising that visualization is a magic button.
The interesting possibility is simply this: some Sunny Spots may become portable because you noticed them while you were actually there.
Someday the Backpack may have a Sunny Spot Globe for carrying discoveries like these. That tool belongs to a future Adventure. For now, the useful idea is smaller: noticing can help a moment travel.
