Heart Stone Journeys

🧭 Follow the Ripple

Somebody paints a rock.

Somebody leaves it somewhere.

Somebody else finds it.

And occasionally that little rock sends a Trail Marker home:

“YOU WILL NOT BELIEVE WHERE I ENDED UP.”

The Traveling Gallery

This Is Where the Ripples Come Back to Visit

Heart Stones are released without knowing what will happen next.

Most of their Adventures happen completely outside our view.

But sometimes a finder takes a photo.

Sometimes a stone travels again.

Sometimes a creator suddenly recognizes a rock they painted weeks, months, or even years ago.

Those are the Ripples we get to see.

This gallery is not here to control the journey or explain what every Heart Stone meant.

It is simply a place where we get to notice some of the trails crossing.

Heart Stone Field Identification System

Yep. The Rocks Have Hashtags.

Before a Heart Stone heads into the wild, its creator can give it a unique hashtag.

Something like:

#Traveler1HS4

Think of it as the Heart Stone's tiny passport number.

If you find a numbered Heart Stone and choose to share it, include the hashtag exactly as it appears on the stone or label.

If you send the stone onward, the next finder can use that same hashtag too.

And suddenly one little rock can start leaving a trail.

Search the hashtag and you may discover where it began, who else encountered it, or where it wandered before reaching you.

Or you may find absolutely nothing yet.

In which case...

CONGRATULATIONS. YOU MAY BE THE FIRST REPORT FROM THE FIELD.

Sassiverse Investigation

What Happens When We Send Something Good Into the World?

We do not really know.

That's what makes it interesting.

A Heart Stone might travel across a parking lot.

Across a state.

Across the country.

Or directly onto somebody's desk, where it remains happily employed for the next twelve years.

Distance is not the experiment.

Connection is.

One person creates something without knowing who will receive it.

Another person notices it.

Maybe they carry it forward.

Maybe they share its story.

Maybe that story reaches the original creator.

Maybe somebody else sees the story and paints their first Heart Stone.

That's a Ripple.

Strange Little Connections

Our Trails Can Touch Without Us Ever Meeting

That's one of our favorite things about this Adventure.

The maker and finder may never stand in the same place.

They may never know one another's names.

They may live hundreds or thousands of miles apart.

But for a moment, they share a story.

And if the stone keeps traveling, another traveler may join it.

And another.

Different people. Different places. One very well-traveled rock.

We are connected in more weird little ways than we usually get to see.

Heart Stones occasionally let us catch one in the act.

This is where creators, finders, photographs, stories, and wandering stones begin crossing trails.

Management requested detailed itineraries from the stones.

The stones declined.

Send a Trail Marker Home

Did You Find—or Release—a Heart Stone?

If you want to share its Adventure, we would love to see where your trails crossed.

Take a photo.

Tell us where it was released or where it found you.

And if the stone has its own hashtag...

INCLUDE IT!

That little identifier is what gives everyone a chance to follow the same stone's Adventure over time.

You might also share:

📍 Where the stone was found or released

💖 The message it carried

👀 Something you noticed

🧭 Whether it is staying with you or traveling onward

✨ Anything about the moment that made you smile, laugh, wonder, or stop

🪙 Any Gold you discovered

Or: “LOOK WHAT I FOUND! #Traveler1HS4”

Perfect field report.

Sharing is always optional. A private Adventure is still an Adventure.

Follow One Particular Wanderer

Search Its Hashtag

If your Heart Stone has an identifier like #Traveler1HS4, use that exact hashtag when you share or search.

Each time somebody shares that same identifier, another Trail Marker may become visible.

Creator.

First finder.

Second finder.

New city.

New state.

New coffee table.

Wherever the Adventure goes.

One hashtag. One stone. However many trails it crosses.

Not every Heart Stone will have a visible journey yet. Someone has to send the first Trail Marker home.

Something Funny Happens

Ordinary Places Start Looking Different

Once you know Heart Stones exist, a park bench is not necessarily just a park bench anymore.

A walking trail might contain something waiting to be noticed.

A rock near a garden suddenly deserves a second look.

That is part of the fun.

Heart Stones turn ordinary places into places where a story might be hiding.

And then we start wondering:

What else is here?

What else have we walked past?

What else is funny, beautiful, strange, interesting, or quietly wonderful?

Important Field Observation

Most Heart Stones May Never Report Back

And that's okay.

A hashtag gives us a way to follow a stone if someone chooses to share.

It does not turn the Adventure into a tracking assignment.

Some stones will disappear from our view forever.

Their stories still happened.

Someone may have found one and smiled.

Someone may have kept it.

Someone may have passed it along.

We may simply never know.

We create the opportunity.

The universe handles the Ripple.

Look at All These Different Trails

Connection Does Not Require Sameness

Every Heart Stone can look different.

Every maker can create differently.

Every finder can respond differently.

One person may find Gold in the message.

Another may love the artwork.

Another may send the stone onward five minutes later.

Another may simply think:

COOL ROCK.

Nobody has to experience the Adventure the same way to belong in it.

Different trails can still connect.

Uh-Oh...

Are You Starting to Think About Painting One?

We recognize the symptoms.

First you look at Heart Stone Journeys.

Then you think:

“I could do that.”

Then:

“Actually, I have a rock.”

And eventually there are painted stones drying all over the kitchen.

Make one.

Make twenty.

Make zero and simply enjoy following the Adventures.

Your trail. Your choice.

Field Notes from the Dev Team

This Traveling Gallery Is Still Becoming Too

Right now, Heart Stone journeys can be shared and followed through our community and their individual hashtags.

Someday, this page may grow new ways to explore where stones have wandered.

Maps?

Individual journey trails?

A mysterious wall of extremely well-traveled rocks?

Maybe.

We do not need to know yet.

The Sassiverse practices becoming too.

Dev Team has wisely requested that Product stop adding features to this paragraph.

Wait... There Is More?

Oh Yes. There Is an Entire Sassiverse.

Heart Stones are only one Adventure.

Around here, we practice noticing.

Wondering.

Experimenting.

Finding language.

Creating connection.

Discovering Gold.

And becoming more ourselves as we wander.

There is no single path.

There is no required pace.

There is definitely no final exam.

There is, however, an Australian Shepherd who has somehow become a Trail Guide.

Management has accepted the situation.

Keep Watching

You Never Know Where a Ripple Will Go

A rock gets painted.

A traveler notices.

A hashtag appears.

Another traveler joins the story.

And somewhere, somebody who released a little painted stone may suddenly yell:

“THAT'S MINE!”

We think that's pretty fun.

What else is here?

Wander. Wonder. Experiment. Become.

And please remind your Heart Stone to use its hashtag when checking in.

Love, Sassy 🐾💖
