Official-ish Field Edition

The Sassiverse Traveler Safety Guide

Please place this in your Backpack.

The Sassiverse is still being explored. New trails, unusual equipment, questionable transportation methods, and previously undocumented uses of glitter may appear without notice.

Fortunately, this guide is very short.

Eight Things Worth Knowing

Before You Wander

1

You are the Traveler.

You choose where you go, what you explore, what you carry, and when you have had enough.

2

You may leave any trail.

Maps, books, questions, Labs, and Adventures are invitations. Skip something. Turn around. Come back later. Change your mind. There is no prize for finishing everything.

3

You never have to push through.

If something feels overwhelming, unsafe, too painful, or simply not useful, you may pause, close the book, leave the Rock alone, choose another trail, or seek another kind of support. The Sassiverse does not diagnose you or decide what you should work through.

4

Your Backpack will change.

You may discover tools, language, and a few surprisingly magical objects as you travel. When something is acquired, instructions will appear. Please read them. Apparently this needed to be stated.

5

Rocks vary considerably in size.

You do not have to pick up every Rock you encounter. If a Rock appears to require heavy machinery, do not attempt the traditional six-Traveler “ON THREE!” method.

6

Warning labels exist for a reason.

Magical equipment may have its own safety note. Read it before adding water, blowing anything into the atmosphere, entering suspicious structures, or pressing mysterious red buttons.

7

NO EXCAVATOR DERBIES.

We do not care who started it. We do not care whose excavator is faster. And “Sassy said it was okay” is not an approved exemption.

This regulation exists for a reason.

8

Sassy is not an authorized safety official.

Her confidence should not be interpreted as certification.

One More Useful Trail Marker

Your trail belongs to you.
