The Parachute
When the world starts spinning.Sometimes you need a little time before deciding what comes next. Open a story about slowing the spin and finding somewhere to land.

You do not need to understand the whole Sassiverse before you begin.
In fact, we are not sure anyone does.
Orientation is simply here to help you get your bearings, meet your Trail Guide, pick up your gear, and learn a few useful things before you wander.
Then the Adventure belongs to you.
A Welcome from Jen & Sassy
Jen and Sassy will welcome each new Traveler to the Sassiverse, explain just enough to help you begin, and probably disagree about who is responsible for keeping track of the ball.
First Things First
You might follow a Trail Marker. Open a book. Try an Adventure. Wander into a Lab. Notice something unexpected. Sit somewhere sunny. Follow Sassy. Change direction. Or come back to the Visitor Center when you need your bearings.
You do not need to visit everything. You do not need to understand everything. And you definitely do not need to know where your entire trail is going before you begin.
Sometimes you can only see the next little piece of trail. That is enough.
A Peek Inside the Great Library
The Bookshelves hold small books you can read right here in the Sassiverse: stories, questions, playful tools, and possibilities to explore through your own experience. Each begins with an Introduction and an Adventure Map showing what is inside.
Here are three waiting on the shelf. Which one catches you?
Sometimes you need a little time before deciding what comes next. Open a story about slowing the spin and finding somewhere to land.
Open The Parachute →What do you know—and what might you be filling in? Wander among the stories we create when we do not have the whole picture.
Enter the House of Mirrors →A laugh. A gasp. A “COME LOOK!” Discover a little language for the moments that catch your attention—and whatever catches yours next.
Open Daily Sparkles / Wonder →A Few Things Before You Go
These are here to help you begin. They are not homework.
A Quick Hello
What exactly did you just wander into?
A strange little universe with books to open, stories to wander through, and Adventures that can follow you into everyday life.
You might find words for something you have experienced, meet an idea you want to question, or discover a possibility you had not considered. Sassy may also have wandered off with the towel.

Apparently she works here.
Australian Shepherd. Adventurer. Investigator. Enthusiastic supporter of questionable detours.
Sassy is not here to decide which trail you should take. She is here to adventure beside you.
Meet SassyMeet a Fellow Traveler
Apparently she works here too.
Jenny left a messy trail behind: old stories, changed ideas, questionable footsteps, discoveries, and evidence of a real person Becoming out loud.
You are not being invited to follow her map. You are being invited to see what can happen when someone keeps walking.
Meet JennyYour Traveling Companion
It may feel a little empty right now. That's intentional.
As you wander, you can acquire tools, save useful words, borrow a belief until you find your own, and keep the discoveries that matter to you.
Tools may appear inside books, along Adventures, near Trail Markers, and in places nobody remembered to check. Eventually, you will be able to use them in the Curiosity Labs currently being built.
There is no master list to complete and no score to chase. Take what helps. Leave what doesn't. Your Backpack grows with your Adventure.
Some discoveries are waiting to be found, not automatically packed. Rumor has it Sassy has a tennis ball tucked away on her character page. Go meet her and see what you discover!
The tennis-ball Backpack card is coming soon, so it cannot be collected just yet.
Sassy insists this is an extremely important expedition.

Stories, questions, Trail Markers—and your agency.
Jen shares why the Sassiverse exists, what it can offer, what it cannot replace, and one principle that matters everywhere here: your trail belongs to you.
Nothing here requires you to push through something that does not feel right. Pause, skip it, choose another trail, come back later, or reach for another kind of support whenever that is what you need.
Read A Note from JenOfficial-ish Field Edition
It is short. Deliberately.
The Sassiverse is still being explored, and explaining every strange thing before you encounter it would ruin half the fun.
You remain in charge of your Adventure. Magical equipment gets its own warning labels. And there are absolutely no excavator derbies.
Read the Safety GuideIf the phrase “excavator derby” has created more questions than answers, the guide is working as intended.
One More Thing
You decide what to do with them.
A Trail Marker may point somewhere interesting. A book may give you useful language. A Lab may offer an experiment. An Adventure may invite you to try something.
You can follow the invitation. Ignore it. Save it for another day. Try it and decide it was not useful. Or discover something you want to carry for years.
There is no correct route through becoming.
Orientation Complete Enough
It is your Adventure.
You do not have to see the whole trail. Start with what you can see from where you are standing.
